Coach Terry O’Halloran had these comments about the weekend meets. “We had a busy and tiring week of practices and back to back swim meets. It was exciting to see us bounce back with wins on Saturday. This year’s swimmers and divers are showing a lot of character. They don’t like to lose. The athletes work hard in the pool and the fitness center and it is starting to pay off. Our team captains, Jessica Hilk, Noura Azeem, Jordyn Markovitch, Tyler Calpin and David Zaitzew are outstanding leaders. They motivate their teammates to do their best and that is why we are winning the close meets. I also would like to recognize our student body, teachers, alumni and swimming families for turning out for our meets at YSU. They are loud and that really pumps up our kids!”
