Members of this relay include Will Linker, Jordan Stackpole, Matthew DunLany, and Noah Basista.
As a team, Boardman placed 17th in Division 1 swimming. Winning the state championship is private school Cincinnati Saint Xavier. “We were very proud with how well our boys finished at the State meet and throughout the whole season. Some of these schools at the State meet are good enough to defeat some college teams. The level of talent in some of these private schools is amazing. However, this is what motivates us to want to get better,” mentioned Coach Cordon. “All of these boys are seniors and will be moving on to collegiate swimming next season. We are asked all
the time how will we replace them. This won’t be easy…These boys have been a part of our summer swim clubs and have raced and trained together for many years. We can’t replace them, but hope the next batch of young athletes that are training at our summer clubs and winter teams will have the same motivation and desire to reach the heights that these boys did.”
