Girl’s Team Score: Boardman 135 Poland 47
The Boardman girls showed dominance over the ‘Dogs of Poland and won 10 out of 12 events to win their 4th meet of the year.
Double event winners for the Spartans include sophomore Lexxi Mihok in the 200 Free (2:04.55) and the 100 free (58.30) and Ella Huston in the 100 Fly (1:08.15) and the 100 Back (1:07.21).
Single event winners include sophomore Julia Basista in the 200 IM 2:34.09, Ally Schwendeman in the 50 Free (27.72), and Hayley Ho in the 500 Freestyle (6:25.39). The Spartan girls won all three relays starting with the 200 Medley Relay with relay members Ella Huston, Julia Basista, Alexis Mihok, and Hayley Ho (2:02.21), the 200 Freestyle Relay of freshman Morgan Russo, Julia Basista, senior Casey Wert, and Allyson Schwendeman (1:54.51), and the 400 Freestyle Relay with swimmers Hayley
Ho, senior Casey Wert, Allyson Schwendeman, and Alexis Mihok.
The Girls are now 4-0-1.
Boy’s Team Score: Boardman 126 Poland 54
The Boardman Spartans defeated the Poland Bulldogs in a dual meet at Beeghly Natatorium. The Spartans won 10 out of 12 events to dominate the meet.
Double winners for the Spartans include sophomore Ethan DunLany in the 200 Free (1:55.54) and the 500 Free (5:09.35) and sophomore Caleb Satterfield in the 200 IM (2:08.73) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:05.07).
Single event winners include junior Justin Yocum in the 100 Butterfly (1:01.47), Siman Mascola in the 50 Freestyle (23.91), and senior Teddy Anzevino on the 1 meter boards (244.20). Boardman won all three relays starting with the 200 Medley Relay with junior Carter Cailor, Caleb Satterfield, Siman Mascola, and Ethan DunLany (1:48.28). The 200
Freestyle Relay team won with members Justin Yocum, Andrew Yocum, freshman Landon Mitchell, and senior Jackson Behun (1:41.78). The Spartans also won the 400 Freestyle relay with swimmers Carter Cailor, Caleb Satterfield, Siman Mascola, and Ethan DunLany.
The boys are now 5-0.
